This Special Auction is scheduled for December 9th-16th, 2012
This will be the first ever, combined, multi-collection auction by The Collector's Trove. This Special Christmas Auction combines items from the collections of Gary Gygax, Dave Arneson, Rob Kuntz, Ernie Gygax, Dave Sutherland, Darlene, Dave Megarry, Steve Marsh, Zeb Cook, Kevin Hendryx, Len Lakofka, Bill Hoyer, Mike Mornard, and many more!
The auction will include nearly 300 lots including some of the rarest and most sought after RPG and wargaming rules, books, accessories, and fanzines. Included will be numerous products by the various companies these designers and artists worked with and designed for such as: TSR, Judges Guild, Adventure Games, Chaosium, Creation Unlimited, Coleco, Metagaming, FGU, NIPI, GDW, Steve Jackson, and many others. Highlights of the auction will include inscribed and autographed copies, editorial and review copies, author's and comp copies, and personal play and reading copies! Among the very special items are and amazing selection of TSR LJN action figures still in their original packaging, a fantastic assortment of shrink wrapped boxed games and modules, a gorgeous 1st print French Basic Set in shrinkwrap, a 1st print Monster Manual with errata that may be the nicest one ever sold, a rare copy of the The Strategic Preview from 1976, TSR letterhead and business cards, a shrink wrapped white box Dungeons & Dragons set, a shrink wrapped 1st print of Dungeon! autographed by designer Dave Megarry, original Empire of the Petal Throne autographed by M.A.R.
